Bio

Brian is the owner and founder of Downton and Ali Associates, which he set up in 2000. He has extensive experience in financial services, with over 35 years in the industry, having worked for NatWest for 18 years before incorporating Downton and Ali.

Brian has chosen to specialise in mortgage advice, personal and business protection, investments and retirement planning. He holds a level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and a Certificate in Insurance.

When providing financial advice, Brian covers Dartford and the surrounding areas, including Bexley, Bexleyheath, Orpington, Sidcup and parts of South London.

Brian takes his corporate social responsibilities very seriously and spends a great deal of his spare time fundraising for the Openwork Foundation and other charities, which are nominated by his customers on an annual basis. Much of his charitable fundraising takes place through a variety of cycling challenges, triathlons and even an Iron Man event. He is also a big supporter of Dartford Football Club.

Brian is devoted to his family and loves to spend time with his wife Lynn and son Jack, particularly on their annual holidays to Corfu.

At the heart of their service provision are strong working and customer relationships and Brian aims to provide an exceptional client experience for all Downton and Ali customers with his team of highly valued and experienced advisers.
